We are blessed to have a wide variety of local attractions & places to visit, all easily accessible from Pitlands Farm. From historic market towns, cultural cities, National Trust & English Heritage properties, gardens & garden centres, to fun days out such as Westmidlands Safari Park and Go Ape! in the Wyre Forrest. Here are some of our favourites! 

Market Towns & Cultural Cities

Worcester City – 10 miles drive  A beautiful city with the River Severn running through its heart. Worcester has a magnificent cathedral which overlooks Worcester County Cricket Club. An abundance of high street chain shops fill the town with plenty of cafes, restaurants, bars and a vibrant nightlife. 

Hereford City – 24 miles drive  Hereford City lies in the beautifully rural county of Herefordshire, well known for its abundance of locally grown and produced meats, cheeses, fruit, ales and ciders. Hereford’s Gothic cathedral, home to the Magna Carta, sits on the River Wye with the city hosting many high street chain shops, cafes, bars & restaurants.

Malvern – 16 miles drive Famous for its mineral water, the Morgan sports car (you can tour the factory) the renowned Malvern Theatres and the spectacular backdrop of the Malvern Hills – perfect for a days walking. Malvern is a pretty town with lots of shops, restaurants and tearooms. 

Ludlow – 22 miles drive Ludlow is a thriving medieval market town with events and festivals throughout the year in the grounds of the towns Castle. The historic town centre is situated on a cliff above the River Teme and is surrounded by the beautiful countryside of south Shropshire and the Welsh Marches.
